Having a lasting career in the music industry is something we’re all striving towards. To
be able to live off the income your music generates. Not having to work. It’s a dream we
all fantasize about. For some this dream is their reality. An independently self built dream with a self-built legacy, however, is something only a few can claim. BIGBABYGUCCI is one of those people. With routes stemming back to early 2015 within the undergrounds of Soundcloud, Gucci has solidified himself within the industry, having never signed or left
independent life.
Despite not attaining paramount stardom, Gucci has surpassed many mainstream
artists in terms of his overall sonic influence as well as goals he’s accomplished. Going
on tour with artists UnoTheActivist and MadeinTYO for example back in 2022.
Gucci recently celebrated the drop of his new EP. Entitled “Colors”. Toying with track
names correlating with different colors, this project resonates with the sought after
classic BIGBABYGUCCI sound. Versatility via flows, beats, features and moods, Gucci
delivered what I think we all were desiring from him.
Features and production include close collaborators Frais, 10cellphones, Fijimacintosh,
Sapjer + more. Having been a fan since 2016 and seeing the progression, it’s nothing but inspiration and motivation. And ultimately, that’s what BIGBABYGUCCI is know for.
